Stephanie Scott, M.A., has been a masters-level associate with Special Psychological Services, LLC, since 2011. She received her Master of Arts degree in Forensic Psychology from Fairleigh Dickinson University and is an associate member of the American Psychological Association (APA).
Ms. Scott's involvement within the field of forensic psychology includes the evaluation and treatment of adult sexual offenders supervised by the New Jersey State Parole Board. She also has extensive experience providing crisis intervention and supportive counseling to victims of domestic and sexual violence. Ms. Scott also serves as an adjunct faculty member at multiple colleges and has delivered lectures in various arenas on topics including dating and domestic violence, crime prevention, victim awareness, sexual offending, and the link between crime and the media. She is also involved in ongoing research within the field.
Prior to joining Special Psychological Services, LLC, Ms. Scott was a Writer / Producer for network television. As such, she wrote and produced promotional material focusing mainly on crime / forensic programming airing on major networks including A&E, Court TV (now TruTV), Lifetime (formerly of NBC Universal), Biography Channel, History Channel, and Telepictures (Warner Bros).
